Series Recording

Hi,

I've had a look around but can't seem to find any answer to this. Does the Azbox support series recording?

I'm not massively bothered about cccam etc, that is just a bonus, so can't decide whether to go for something like this or the Humax HDR Freesat.

Neither recording (high bitrate HD to usb)or the EPG(Not sure if this works at all) are fully working.

Series recording may never come.

Even with a working EPG I wouldn't expect Series Recording like FreeSat unless extra work is done to correctly process the epg codes used by series link.

If series link on Freesat is a must have feature you'd be best off with a Freesat receiver.

It would be worth asking the Humax reseller how it handles series link. I know my parents Humax freeview box records every occurence of a broadcast, so when something is repeated mid-week (ala BBC Three) that is recorded as part of the series as well, giving you multiple recordings of the same episode. Something like family guy would record every one broadcast in the week even though consecutive nights/episodes are different series.
