TM6900 super RF modulator quandary

Hello all

Hope someone can help with a quick question regarding my new TM6900Super combo + ?

All was working well until I tried to get the uhf channel working around the house as all the details say this beast has an RF modulator and not just loop through like the basic 6900.

I have swapped it over form my old TM and expected to see the channel on the TV through the RF out, but nothing.

I have checked the channel number (ch40) for both TM and TV. PAL I, 5v off, on all TV, freeview, HD, radio and not a hint of a picture.
After much fiddling I remembered there was an option to turn the uhf off from the remote but using the TV/SAT button does nothing.

Swapping the old TM back shows the picture fine.
Has anyone any advice, am I missing something obvious here ??

The TM 6900 HD has both a Digital Tuner in and out, as well as an analogue TV IN and OUT. My guess is that you have connected the digital loop through coax socket, rather than to the Analogue output socket. On My TM 6900 HD, the digital coax sockets are adjacent to the LNB Sat sockets, whereas the Analogue sockets are adjacent to the Audio/Visual Sockets.

In a momment of self doubt I wondered if I had plugged the coax cables on the wrong connections working upside down amongst all the cable in the dark.

And indeed as you say, I had connected them in the same format as my old box. oops

All working and feeding through now.

RF distribution from Technomate 6900 HD Super to other TV sets on Connector 14
if you have a need for cable TV RF feed trough for distribution to other TV sets:
Cable distribution from wall socket to Connector 15
Cable distribution + current watched sat channel out to all TV sets from Connector 14
Important: set Technomate in A/V Output Settings for unused RF Channel in cable distribution TV and set PAL to the used system in you country RF Type: PAL I (UK/Eire) or B/G (Europe)
