This is pointed at the 8k with twin tuners.

I have a fixed dish on 28e on Tuner 'A' and the motorised is on 'B'.

Without going out on my drive and looking up like a looney where the dish is pointing, anyone know a quick way using the 8k to tell me where the motorised dish is pointing when I am on the fixed 28e?

Hi dave3dg
I think the only way at the moment is to try to remember were you were before going to 28e.

At my age memery aint that good!

Use the picture in picture facility and then swap the 2 around so that you get the info for what the second tuner is on.

I often use that for setting up friends boxes on Astra 2 as I have a spare lead from my motorised dish which may sometimes be on a different satellite.

The manual says to use the blue button to get to the instructions above.
The blue button facility has changed with Nab Blackhole so can anyone put me on to the PIP facility using Blackhole?

Long press on the blue button.

Doesn't seem to work because when the PIP is deactivated when viewing the fixed dish it loses the id of the other tuner and satellite channel.

The idea was when switching on the DB and it defaulted to the fixed dish then I could find which satellite/channel the motorised dish was on.
