I'll give this a 'bump' as I think it's a great question, I have only 1mb at the moment so I'd like to know too.
So, just to clarify, it's not just keys that the ethernet connection delivers to your box but the pictures as well??
Wouldn't that eat into your download limits fairly quickly??

There's no way your gonna get feed down your internet connection. Seems logical it is only the keys. After all it is still a SATELLITE receiver.

it will be fine with 1mb line, and you only get the CWs send from the server, nothing more, not even keys :-)
the receiver do not make to much trafic in a day so i guess you will be fine

Sorry i meant .5mb sometimes goes up to .8Shame though would have been a pretty fast connection.

The bandwidth will be fine. The main issue is the round trip delay from the servers.

Try a ping on your command line
ping 216.239.59.104

I've had no problems with a round trip of 50 to 80ms and know of no problems below 400ms, not sure at what speed you'll start getting problems.
