My wife brought me an AZBox Premium and I got up early this morning to set it up.
I didnt get very far, connected all leads, put in power cable and.............. nothing!!
There is a red, blue and green light that flash on the box for a split second, but thats about it.
Am I doing something wrong, or have I got a duff box?

Do you have an HDD connected? If so, disconnect it an try again

Thanks for coming back to me Gubernator.
No HDD connected. My wife purchased it from the sponsers and I took it straight out of the box connected everything and thats it.

Is there nothing shown in the display (e.g. "LOADING")?
You can also open the box and check if everything is well connected.

This thing occasionally happens: transport failure [we don't know where exactly it happened]. One of them got one with a cracked motherboard. Re-soldered it. Working. Post office handling, I presume.
In your case send it back and you will get a new one, this time hopefully OK... ;)

Nothing more in my head at the moment. I think you should follow gorans advice.

I plugged all the leads back into my DreamBox and everything works OK there. Tried the AZBox again, but nothing. Gonna return it as Goran's email.
Thanks for the replies anyway :respect-055:

This problem is very common, try to open the box and re-seat the ribbon cables and every other cable that connect to the motherboard in their sockets.
Do this before sending it back.
This generally solve your problem.
