I've followed the manual on how to use the parental lock, but it only seems to lock you from entering the menu's rather than preventing access to a dodgy channel that you are trying to hide from the kids.
Can the Plaza ST parental lock be used to lock individual channels ?
I've seen this on an ST250 and my ST550, so I guess they are all the same (latest firmware on all).
Any idea's ??

Erm, yes, I followed the manual as stated in the first post.
I'm aware it should work, but can anybody tell me if it actually does work ?
As for austin allegro, shouldn't we update that for the younger members here who may not know what that was

Yes, that is a shame. Hopefully I will get a bit more life out of this ST550 before I need to replace it though. I did 164,000 miles in my Allegro, so this receiver should last a few more years :biggrinjester:

st 550 seems ok picture quality a bit washed out but found no major problems with the receiver not like the older manhattan models with the stuck in boot mode mate of mine done 240000 with his allegro but is on his 10th engine
