All,

Is it possible to copy the current bouquets from a DM 8000 to a PC over the network ?
And if yes, how ?
Is it a file I can FTP to my PC ?

I would like to use 1 channel list for all my images.

Gr,
Arjan.

Got that installed, but no idea how to connect to my DM.

If you go to > Tools > Options then setup your box ip and password then FTP > receive files from box.

Yeah, found that, expected that in file/open or something.
Anyway, I can connect, but can't copy the bouquets, I get errors and message to see log file.
Sigh.
Will see how far I get.

Yup, that works.
Now, when I switch to another image, how do I only restore the bouquest and nothing else ?
The send option sends everything.

Do a 'backup' from your current image and then when you change your image in flash it asks you do you want to do a restore system settings update.

GoTo: Setup from the Menu button.

Software Manager: and then Backup or Restore system settings which ever is applicable.

This will put all of your bouquets and sat positions back as they were when you did the backup. Good or bad remember. :respect-050:

Thank you, but I don't want to restore settings, only bouquest.

Why would you only want to send your bouquets, you would then need to set up all your positions / settings again?

I think the settings are differrent between different images.

I think the settings are differrent between different images.

No they aren't.
Open the settings file in a text editor - it contains motor settings, satellites available, backup directory, backup settings .............

I have just installed a new image, restored all settings, but some channels are not in my bouquets, some lines are empty.
I have to do a full sat scan and then restore my settings, and then the bouquets are complete.
What am I doing wrong ?
