Internet connection Problem

Okay major problem. Not sure what has happened but tried to put security on the internet as it was insecure. At same time I upgraded to latest software.

Problem now is no internet. I've reset the whole machine and reinstalled latest firmware. On internet setting I have set up my internet static ip details but on system information on inter net status I just get "checking status".

The server is working and the router is working as all other machines connected and accessing.

Tried it with DCHP option on wireless setting on azbox but can't connect.

So my box cant seem to connect to the net.

Anyone else had this problem and any solutions. I don't have a long wire to router at moment so can't test that option.

It's just a message, and a known bug on latest beta.

Internet works fine.

Hi

I just received my box last week, and had the same issue. It just would not connect using a WEP code. So I on purpose typed the wrong code, then tried (failed), and then typed the right code and then it worked. No idea why, but that's what I did.

You have to put a DNS for example 192.168.1.1, so you'll do Internet.

Post here your configuration... router ssid, type of protection (wep, wpa, wpa2), lenght of your wifi key, router's ip address, azbox's ip address, gateway, dns etc...

hi guys, i have now reloaded with latest 4283,the internet connection says its connected with the blue connection lines and readings, but its not connected, so i changed the connection from static to dhcp, and hey presto its working,like i say its full of tricks, you cant call this box boring can you
