I got a brand new Azbox premium and would just like to know where to start to set it up. Can I plug it in to my motorised dish and start tuning in the sats and channels? I plan to use a ethernet cable with it for now and not do it wireless. At what stage do I update the frmware and do I do this via usb?

You can use it with usuals just put in your location.

If you want to use blindscan upgrade to the latest beta firmware 4084 i believe

What is the best firmware and MultiCAS to be using? At the moment I have 0.9.3877 AZBox Premium HD, is this good?

Also why do the subtitles auto start on the screen when I change channels, how can I stop this?

I would try a newer firmware on a USB pen such as 9.4110 which for me was the last stable version.

http://dailyfw.azupd.com/Subtitles can be turned off in the language menu.

OpenXcas/Multicas can be downloaded from the plugins menu. (Azbox world)
