Can anyone help me with the Parental Control options on my Dm800 running Nabilo 012 please. Is there a tutorial anywhere?

When I run the initial set up I choose to setup Parental Control and set a PIN code however, how can I now request PIN for access to 'adult' channels for example?

Thanks

Download the channel list to your pc, and open it in dreambox edit. Then, go to the channel you wish to lock, and right-click it, and choose the "Toggle parental lock" option. It should turn the channel into having a red background. Do this for all channels you want to lock, then save the channel list, upload it back to the dreambox, and reload the enigma2. Then, when you choose the channel, it should ask you to enter the pin...

Hi

I´ve done exactly what you write above, but each time I restarted the DM800 (enigma2) or I unplug it from the 220V, the dm800 lost doesn´t remember which channel has a parental control. The pin code is still in memory. All chanels are viewable.

Do you have a permanent solution ?

With my old 7020 you used to be able to "lock" recorded movies on the hdd as well . This feature seems to have been removed . Anyone else noticed this ?
