every time i now try an advanced search i press green for new tp and as soon as i put the first number in the machine turns off. tried it numerous times. auto search is ok. downloaded latest patch aug 09 as i was running apr 09. no difference. anyone else had this.
dont really want to try a factory reset (only as last resort) as it maybe wont let me put in the tp's that were not factory made if it doesnt work.

memory overload: download your channellist or make your own! There is only space for 10.000 Stations (Radio & TV) and I think the same would go for transponders (amount of allowed transponders is not known)
great tool for this exercise is:
Clarke Tech Editor Studio (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=110802) <= click here

that is a very typical problem with the TM
usualy memory full delete what you can satellite positions or channels that you don't watch radio and so on and you find it will work again some channels on 13 east they are a repeat and some on1 west too or some dummy channels that they change frequence or PID ,the more you delete the better it is

use Clarke Tech Editor Studio and remove empty transponders and remove not used satellites.
Your not entering C-Band frequencies? (typical C band satellite uses 3.7–4.2 GHz) these crash to on universal lnb's

will try that as ive got loads of sats stored now.

to avoid or limit the transponder memory issue:
auto navigation on existing transponders without network option, if you don't use the radio selecting by TV.
PID search:
adding new tranponder
TV channels not working 100%
blind scanning satellite use an empty channellist with no transponders in it
