DM 800 sat config

Hi all

I just got a DM800 and am trying to set up a single dish pointing at 28.2 and a motorised for all the others. This is connected to a diseqc switch.

I had a 7020 connected to the same setup and found that pretty easy to get going but for the life of me i cannot get this working.

Has anybody got a similar setup and can shed some light on how to get it working?

It would be appreciated.

I have a similar setup, I used the advanced settings, set one lnb up for 28.2 as diseqc 1.0 and another for all the other sats as diseqc 1.2 (not usals as I'm using a VBox), The relevant settings from my file are:


config.Nims.0.advanced.lnb.3.dise qcMode=1_0
config.Nims.0.advanced.lnb.3.comm itedDiseqcCommand=AA
config.Nims.0.advanced.lnb.3.fast Diseqc=true
config.Nims.0.advanced.lnb.2.dise qcMode=1_2
config.Nims.0.advanced.lnb.2.powe rMeasurement=false
config.Nims.0.advanced.lnb.2.comm itedDiseqcCommand=BB

You may need to play with the switch settings (committed/uncommitted) to get it working.

Thanks for the reply mate.

Still no luck getting the motor to move when i change sats. It has a mind of its own at the moment and will wizz off when it feels like it.

It's about 10 years old now, so maybe time to change it.

Still i will persist. If you have any other ideas, that would be great.
