Humax is unable to tune high symbol rates - pls help

Hello

I am using humax 5400 with latest hot 11.1, universal ku band lnb plus 8 ft solid dish. I intend to tune NSS 6 (95E) channels. The signal is quite strong about 75 to 80%. But unfortunately some of my favourite channels (zeetv network) have high symbol rates like 40700 and the humax is unable to tune these high symbol rates. The same channels with high symbol rates are easily tuned by all other receivers. I think that this is a mistake by the humax software writers. Kindly help and guide that how could i increase the S/R to tune the channels.

Sajid 77,Sorry I cannot help you. The attatude of Humax is- We now have your money and you can suffer on.There are thousands of Humax iCord owners in the same boat, me being one of them. If people buy Humax junk they must put up with the fallout. Sorry but that is how they treat you. TMULL

The Humax 5400 has a tuner that is only capable of reaching 31000. You will not be able to modify it to get 40700.

Your only solution is to buy a new receiver capable of accepting this symbol rate.

Thanks for recommendations. In my view, currently the best patch (firmware) is the official one. Since every thing has stopped on humax and in future we dont have any hope for any new releases from hot team (late), therefore, i have already updated my hummy with official firmware, it is super fast, no hanging/freezing. It is fun to use official firmware after so many years. Thanks to hot team.
