What Sly card is it you want updated? Try reading the MultiCAS posts and I think you will find an answer.

Try answering my query yes or no. Goran search provided no answer and multi cas provided no answer either. I exepected an intelligent answer, not a load of time wasteing sh**e. If you dont know say so, if you do know say yes. For your information you were all in nappies once.

iv read all goran manual on the azbox hd and do's not provide me with the answer to my query about the sly card the only help i received was from digihoe who suggested i look in multicas for an answer without resorting

Blue cards are working away no problem.

You don't need to put a boxkey in for blue or white cards, it just works when you set it to Auto.

I had left a Blue card in it for 48 hours and none of the entitlements were updated, this would have been a good few versions of MultiCAS back though...

Yes, once installed you go through the menu like this
OpenXCAS > Camd setup > MultiCAS > Smartcard Interface > CAS Control > NDS
and you're given these options:

Box ID mode: Auto / Manual
Modify Box ID: (You can enter the box key number in cardkeydata.txt in the MultiCAS folder and then upload it)
EMM Mode: Off / Single / All

I have a Blue card in it now with the EMM set to 'All' just to see if it will update it, will let you know.

Yes those who c/s can relax now.

New 0963 working good and all channels open.

Take serial number from official receiver.

Delete first two numbers.

Then that number use Hex - Dec converter

Then you have a new number

Add 0 to the start of that number

Add this new number to newcs.xml

<boxkey>********</boxkey>

Important info - To stop freezes you have to block GA EMM's.

There is an older version of newcs which can read the internal reader. It can be found in this thread "NewCS: a few Q's - let's get all the crucial info together, guys..."
(don't know how to post a link to the thread) but I have not tested with the white card.

Will post config when I get home tonight.

Which versions - latest version of newcs, The CCCam I used a script written by terrorman which installs a choice of two versions, do a serch for this tool, its very good. See also gorans Azbox guide which is sticky (download PDF - more info in it)

Joe b got it working with old version of NewCS in emebedded card reader, in an old FW:


old newcs m8, firm 0.9.2371 but :-

1)getting freezes

2)not clearing some hd channels

3)running @ 500 mhz (need to know how to change the mhz)

card is running cool, not been a problem.

Etc. etc. etc.
