View Full Version : Motor with multi lnb holder. Advice please

I am working on a project and need some advice soon if anyone can help.

Scenario is a motorised dish with a multi-lnb holder infront of the dish.
The triax mutliholder attaches to the dish arm in the middle meaning the main LNB will probably have to be placed to one side. When the motor turns the dish, this main LNB will probably be off each and every satellite except position 0 right?

Triax mutli holder:

Can someone confirm my thought?
If I am correct in my thoughts, is there a suitable 20degrees multiholder that will work well with a triax dish/arm so an LNB will be properly centered?

Thanks

Why would you want this set up?
It'll only work on certain sats depending where you send your dish to,cant see the point.

The setup above is good for people who want instant zapping on those four satellites but also adds the ability to be able to find any sat recievable on the arc maybe to find feeds and one off events

It may seem a bit of a bizarre setup I agree. It is a project I have been working on, as part of a test platform.

I presume the above modification was made to bring in 9E/13E/16E/19E rather than for my particular requirement (using multi lnbs with a motor).
