I have got the RF of my 6900 connected to an amplifier in the loft and distributed around the house. All normal TV channels are fine, but the picture from the 6900 is very poor. I have tried loads of different rf channels but to no avail. I decided the connect the main living room tv straight to the 6900 via rf to see what the picture was like, ( and to eliminate everything else) and the picture was also very bad. I tried connecting the 6900 to a vcr via scart and then in effect used the video as an rf modulator. This resulted in a good picture around the house. This all leads me to conclude that there is a fault with the rf modulator on the 6900. I notice that the rf out connector on the 6900 is a little bit loose and I wonder if that is the problem? However, as all the tv pictures go through the 6900 and are output through the loose rf socket then surely if the looseness of the socket was an issue it would affect all channels.

Any thoughts gratefully received.

Thank you

normaly you should have a good picture on the RF, have it serviced. Have 2 6900 HD Super and had a 6800 HD

I had same problem but checked manual for connections used following setup: aerial in next to the lnb in then loop through to rf in then rf out to tv. I had the lead to the tv connected from rf in changed to rf out (lower connector) and worked perfectly also check rf output frequency and country type is compatible with your tv system.
Hope this helps
