View Full Version : OScam with working internal Reader?

take a look to SB, in a Thread we find something from satdreamdotru, seems to be working, but why not build it into the source on SB?
Ive tried to test it, no Reader working.
So we must wait for better Versions. Maybe it runs only with there builded Image, but this doesnt interest me.
Have some Reader working on USB, so no really need for this, but it was maybe a Way to clean up and kill newcs.
Maybe some other Guys will test it, but I know how to config this Cam, and no Error made ;)

Indeed there is a lot that tgere "cardreader fixed" version... but always not work!

Very strange...

but there is something in, which will tell me, it could work:
2010/01/17 18:17:31 1106 s Open OpenXCAS interface
[OPENXCAS_API:Sun Jan 17 18:17:31.236] load_xcas_control:68 ## loaded controller

2010/01/17 18:17:31 1106 s auth size=4740

But like always, at the End nothing works:
2010/01/17 18:17:31 1111 r02 OpenXCAS open /dev/scard0
2010/01/17 18:17:31 1111 r02 [tuxbox] Cannot open device: /dev/scard

2010/01/17 18:17:34 1106 s anti cascading disabled
2010/01/17 18:17:58 1108 s exit with signal 2
And why "tuxbox"???

No the version I've recognize the cardreader but... not the card on it!

Try that version
http://dreamworld.vg/ulc/index.php?action=downloadfile&filename=oscam_pre.tar.gz&directory=Emus%20und%20Cardserver/Cardserver/oscam&

protocol = internal
device = /dev/scard

Several persons at myazbox.de have already confirmed that it is reading some cards

It works now here, too, Oscam at very first in OpenXCAS, no other Emu running for test. Now Card is recogniced, Reader, too :)
Now we need this in actual Trunk ;) then we can build also actual Versions and also with Monitor(this is without)

Great work!

ca 100ms more then NewCS 1.20RC13

goran

Thanx!

NewCS is allegedly already slower than DM by 2-3 imes, says hfmls...

And this is slower still... A welcome development, of course but they need all the dosc and tools hey can get!!!

Moreover, OpenXCAS needs removing, completely!

If and when new DVB API is ready, then...

Good luck!

hanswurscht

yes, some Limitations are in Xcas ****. Not all standard settings in oscam are working with this modified Version.
If I try to overclock my Card, it dont work anymore. With Smargo or uMouse no Problem but not with internal Reader.
With NewCS 1.20RC 13 I can overclock, no Problem. So back to good old NewCS.
when we see new Improvements I will test again, but for now good old NewCS is the better Way for me

here you see the difference:

[17:42:58] [NEWCAMD] sent sequence id 0084 , received sequence id 0084
[17:42:58] [NEWCAMD] Control words received successfully (127.0.0.1:11000), time (473 ms).
[17:42:58] [NEWCAMD]<-CW ( LOCAL DECODE ), caid:0x0D05, ecmpid:0x00D1 , sidpid:0x32D4 forwarded to dyndns port:55170
[17:42:58] [NEWCAMD] sent sequence id 0161 , received sequence id 0161
[17:42:58] [NEWCAMD] Control words received successfully (192.168.178.5:24000), time (334 ms).
[17:42:58] [NEWCAMD]<-CW ( LOCAL DECODE ), caid:0x1830, ecmpid:0x1ACC , sidpid:0xEF10 forwarded to dyndns

First Card is internal Reader, second Card is also on another internal Box on uMouse and 150ms faster.
Both on Oscam, first is the modified AZHD Oscam with 473ms, second is an actual Trunk, running on a Dreambox

Some Cards not running, yes.
It should be a Start for to build more with this , not more.
but there is another Problem, the lib which is needed is closed source and the Devs in SB said, without Sources of this Lib NO buildin in trunk!
Also I think, this Lib is not needed, because sbox and Newcs dont use this Way for to start internal reader and both are working with it

fanoSat
21-01-2010, 02:52 PM
Indeed it would have to work using directly the OpenXCAS API... but that version continues to do nothing!

It's a little strange to me: the Dreambox version supports N*S and this not?

It seems to be a chosen thingh not a bug, to me.

hanswurscht
21-01-2010, 03:31 PM
its not ready, only a nice Guy has given this Version to public to make it better!
Feel free to take the known Sourcecode and make it, please.

For me AZHD is out of Order for now.
My VU+ Duo is coming yesterday and I dont have more Time for buggy AZ.
Maybe, after all running, I will come back ;)

Yeah, waiting 'till OpenXCAS is gone completely...

If DVB API is modified it is possible, they say...

In that case we'll have many more...

Good luck!

I hope to see you again and let me know how you consider this new VU+ duo! It seems a very good receiver but it doesn't support DVB-T tuner, which is important for me.

I can say, Im not away from AZHD but for now this Box is a Nightmare for me and unuseable.

I wont spread this Thread with Infos from vu+, but I can you tell, the difference between AZHD and VU+ is, all is easy (you can download hundreds of E2 Plugins and they are working, Baryy Allen is working and also DMM 8000 Images with it and the best is, I can use this Box for all I have bought it.
Its fast in Gui, no freezing in Emus, its all fast. Streming on PC :) 4 Streams no Problem, 6? works!
Record 4 Things? works! And its faster then DM8000 in Gui :)
So I have found my End HD Receiver for now.
AZHD is going into pure Mediaplayer in Sleeproom, its good for to look some Videos.
Of course, People who like Feeds dont have an Alternative, only AZHD.
But I dont need, really not :)

Info about hardware watchpoint:

Source from t o t a l v i e w t e ch

A TotalView watchpoint is based on your hardware. That is, we rely on features provided to us by the hardware and, to some extent, the operating system. We use special registers and other features that differ from computer-to-computer. Because our watchpoints are based on hardware, they don't add a lot of overhead.
In contrast, a software watchpoint requires that execution be stopped after every instruction so that a debugger can check if a value changed. This approach can severely impact performance. If a program executes on one CPU, performance is ponderous. On a multithreaded or multiprocess job, performance becomes ludicrous (which is why TotalView doesn't do it this way).
The problem with hardware watchpoints is that there are some architectures where there aren't a lot of resources available, which means the number of watchpoints you can have are limited. The following table describes what TotalView can do:

Computer
Constraints

HP Alpha Tru64
Tru64 places no limitations on the number of watchpoints that you can create, and no alignment or size constraints. However, watchpoints can't overlap, and you can't create a watchpoint on an already write-protected page.
Watchpoints use a page-protection scheme. Because the page size is 8,192 bytes, watchpoints can degrade performance if your program frequently writes to pages that contains watchpoints

IBM AIX
You can create one watchpoint on AIX 4.3.3.0-2 (AIX 4.3R) or later systems running 64-bit chips. These are Power3 and Power4 systems. (AIX 4.3R is available as APAR IY06844.) A watchpoint cannot be longer than 8 bytes, and you must align it within an 8-byte boundary. If your watchpoint is less than 8 bytes and it doesn't span an 8-byte boundary, TotalView figures out what to do.
IRIX6 MIPS
Watchpoints are implemented on IRIX 6.2 and later operating systems. These systems let you create approximately 100 watchpoints. There are no alignment or size constraints. However, watchpoints can't overlap.
Linux x86,
Linux IA-64,
Linux x86-64 (AMD and Intel)
You can create up to four watchpoints and each must be 1, 2, or 4 bytes in length, and a memory address must be aligned for the byte length. That is, you must align a 4-byte watchpoint on a 4-byte address boundary, and you must align 2-byte watchpoint on a 2-byte boundary, and so on.
HP-UX IA-64
You can create up to four watchpoints. The length of the memory being watched must be a power of 2 and the address must be aligned to that power of 2; that is, (address % length) == 0.
Solaris SPARC
TotalView supports watchpoints on Solaris 7 or later operating systems. These operating systems let you create hundreds of watchpoints, and there are no alignment or size constraints. However, watchpoints can't overlap.

It seems this version can't read the HD+ card.
Is this the only Oscam version with internal reader available? - Are there any new versions?

Card will be detected, ATR is fine too but after the message "r02 [nagra-reader] detect native nagra card T1 protocol" it tells just "Killed".

Some got it to work? :smash:

No, in the case of a HD+ card, this oscam version is not able to read it.
Stop testings,it is wasted time.

somebody tried this?
OScam UMP 1677 mit CCcam Server for testing

Its without any internal Reader, so try it with an external one.
Card server could/would work, but CCcam Client in OScam on AZHD surely not
