Now we are two with this Problem ;)
So we can take out all Networkproblems, because DVB-T working.
Ive tried it all, without Router, with Router, several PCs, no Way for me.
no longer believe in my abilities, but all Settings are correct, triple checked.
Not urgent for me dont need UDP streaming(only WebIF Streaming is needed ;)), but I will know, why it dont work or only sometimes

Some guys in other forum said that for stream to work on elite, the elite needs to have a USB stick or HDD.
I don't know if this is because that streaming is a modification of the recording (pr2 thoughts) and for recording you need an HDD or USB device...
Regards!

have HDD and Stick on Elite, but no work.
Seems also to be useless an Usb Device having on the Box for an UDP Stream.
There must be something other wrong I think

Since the Streaming uses the Multicasting, have you enabled Mulitcasting on your router?

FME_fta is right, you need an HDD or USB storage for the streaming to work!

I have the Linksys WRT54G V4 with DD-WRT and now with the latest firmware I can stream no problem, and also watch other channel on the TV (on the same transponder), also with unicast I get almost none (max 0,2sec delay) and this is on wireless connection...
I'm quite happy!

Some people say we need to format the Azbox before loading the new firmware, so that maybe why not working.

to summarize what i know so far:
i tried vlc 1.0.3 and then 0.8.6i and saw no difference.
You need to have a usb stick/HDD for the elite before steraming can work.
On the elite, i can stream DVB-T channels but not DVB-S ones.
I will Format Application Area as i belive this will resolve that since others have the elite working after doing that.

I only did format application area once, and was when I first updated my Elite.
And streaming is working fine here with VLC and XP in multicas or single IP.
Do you guys tried first on a FTA channel? Doing a reboot in azbox? Restart VLC?

I have an azbox premium.
Could only stream DVB-T, could not stream DVB-S.
Posts suggested to format application area.
So I formatted application area, reinstalled firmware.
Streaming now works.
Cheers

Still no joy with my elite although i have seen a DVB-S channel work once or twice.
I did a Format Application Area, updated to latest firmware, reloaded saved channels with MAZ. Can stream a DVB-T channel ( vlc shows fours streams, h264 vid, mpga audio and two text streams).
just have a 128Mgb pen drive on the USB port, mapped to a network drive. dont know if that makes a difference since its streaming DVD-T.
Cant determine why streaming a DVB-T works but a DVB-S wont.
