Streaming works very well with VLC (1.3) under win XP, no hiccups even with HD (using wireless/0.9.4295 firmware).:respect-054:

How ever, same set-up but with wind 7/x64, VLC sees the stream and reads it but displays nothing!
It has nothing to do with firewall/security on windows 7/x64, as I can see the port VLC using for streaming, open and active.

VLC streaming compatibility under win 7/x64 ?
Any one tried another program for streaming under win 7/x64 that works ?

By the way, as it was suggested here before, you will need a Data storage connected to Azbox or it won't stream nothing!:smash:

Yes it's odd, like I could not get ITV SD on 28.2E streamed, yet Luxe TV HD on 9E, streams OK!
But VLC only plays the stream in win XP, it displays nothing under win 7/x64 :(

sorry about my stupid question but i can't connect to my azbox stream

how can i stream a tv program from my azbox?

i have the latest firmware 0.9.4295 and a pc or laptop in the same LAN of the Azbox

azbox ip: 22.1.1.254
pc ip: 22.1.1.2
routerIP: 22.1.1.1

In the AZBOX Settings menu no streaming settings (only IP_channel, when I want to connect to a PC streaming, i hope).

In the TV mode Detail menu, finally i got the "Streaming" menu.
Here: IP 224.1.1.100
port: 9000
duration: 1M

I hope here I need to put the AZBOX ip, port.
And after the start i need to connect from PC with VLC player (1.0.3)
and i got an error:
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'udp://@22.1.1.254:9000'. Check the log for details

where is the problem?

PS. I have an internal HDD connected to my Azbox.

thanks
ron

You must write IP 224.1.1.100 to your VLC in PC.

But it is better not to stream to 224.1.1.100, but in your case the ip-adress of your pc 22.1.1.2.
