help controling my deambox using iphone

after some help but not shure if any one can,just got a iphone and have installed the app to controll my dreambox which works great over wifi but it wont conect over the net and im shure it should,will it be a port problem or just not possible?

I have it set up on mine to work over wifi or the cellular network.

Presumably you have a dns name? I use this instead of an IP address in your iphone settings.
Then pick a port and open it on your router for your dreambox ip address. I have port 8080 working perfectly on mine. Type this port number into your iphone. Type in your username and password in the same iphone settings page (default= root:dreambox)

edit: I also have a webinterface setting on port 8080. Not sure if that has some influence for this dreaMote. Under interfaces = dreamboxIP, port 8080, SSL=no, Authorisation=yes, disabled=no. If you change that you might have to reboot.

all i have done it enterd my box ip in the iremote and log in details which all work over wifi,the box is set to a static ip and from there im totaly lost lol farnt find any tutorials any place on how to set it all up start to finnish
