i loaded the patch firmware without the add-on first and tested the cs, and it performed the same as after the add on.

I don't know about the new patch, but with the earlier patches, if you didn't install the add on then it would not save any data you entered in the cs boxes. I made this mistake twice. This may have been fixed in the new patch. Hope this is of some help.

I haven't installed the new patch yet as I'm playing around with a Dreambox 800 HD that I have aquired. Do you know what the add on is for ?
