Hi guys, need help... my 2year old humax hdci2000 appears to have died, got power going into the unit and across the printed circuit board, but thats it, nothing on the display or anything else.
Contacted local repairers and he mentioned something about sram or eprom locking up and theres nowt he can do...anyone any other ideas.
I've seen a thread on here where one of the guys suggested buying some new components, but dont know if i'd be up to the task.
Cheers
Mick

I recall a similar problem on my own HDCI2000. When I opened it up, I found some capacitors were bulging. Changed them, and all was fine again.
