Newcamd with 714p

I am trying to get to grips with the new patch as previously I have used 679p to successfully connect using newcamd.
I have entered all server details then saved.
Then reentered the server list and pressed connect button with no result. Is there a guide to this anywhere?

For Newcamd do I enter the caid and ident in filter for a particular package then file save before connecting?

yes, when data is entered in filter exit filter window and confirm save. Server details can now be edit on the computer and uploaded by USB stick. Change auto to the filter used in the line for the used server: speed is the name of the game.
