Is it in anyway faster or more stable then that firmware from yesterday?

If you look at a recording and a new recording starts then the playback stops. Has it always been like this for all fw released?

YES!
And OpenXcas menus are instant (ie. quicker than before)
.....................
Good work Opensat (I never thought I'd be saying that!)
Seems they've decided to pull their socks up finally....looking a lot rosier all of a sudden :-)

Observations on Elite model (so far):
> > (FF) / < < (FR) not working properly from TV mode/Recorded Programs
Search not working properly from TV mode/Recorded Programs

Is it only me that in this FW screenshot grab isn't working?

edit:
it works but images are stored in: /DATA/hdb1/picture/
also when i upload an old channel list (fw 4295 for example) it makes totally mess in satlist (->0 E postions etc) not compatibile with new fw?

Last 2 FWs gave me an error when trying to DL and install directly into the AZ HD, rather than do it via USB... Anyone else?

Goran
do you have the correct address in the url as firmware default does not work requires 'http://fw.azupd.com/'
or is it some other error.

Did you reboot after?

I found the same problem on Sly Italia until I rebooted.

Good, I hope they know what to do now...

But why didn't they know it before they published it, if it was this simple [at least for them...]???:beatdeadhorse5:

this new version is unusable too. what I did:

- upgraded from 4295.
- downloaded "new openxcas"
- restored /PLUGINS from backup
- system restart

now I cant configure Multicas it hangs showing "Data loading"
ps x output shows running emu_module.

Any ideas ????

UPD: fixed

Yeah. I had one. And I explained it in detail a little earlier, on a previous "new FW" thread. Guaranteed to work for anyone! Fully! I hope... ;) :D

I did try a few typical ways before that, on an earlier FW. It didn't work. But this one will!:coolgleamA: I'm almost sure... :D

Smudger

try deleteing the splitter.data file reboot and try before you use cccam.cfg to reload your settings don't send with Multicas edit

Ah got it!
Thanks for your help everyone, appreciated!
Me and this box do not have a healthy relaionship :( :P

goran

Am I correct in assuming that splitter data and txt files are created once you put in the data of your peers and card?

In which case, since you can not do it via remote ["Data loading..."], you may try doing that using telesat's MultiCASedit, as I described in "New FW 4461" thread... ;)

Good luck!

I had problems with mkv playback .
Audio not synchronized after a few minutes and...

I have lost all satellite channels with this FW. I am maintaining my list only with AzBox, no external tools... and after setting Diseq 1.2 position for one satellite, everything dissapeared.... Of course, famous "Please Reboot" message was shown when I zapped trough channels and after reboot... nothing...

Strange thing is that DVB-c channels are there, and nothing happened to them. Also all channels are in their favorites lists, but you can't see any channel information (sat, freq, fec etc...) just their names.... All other lists are empty and also some satellite settings are changed to some ridiculous settings...

AzBox is connected to the UPS, and no power outages happened... Any had similar problems? I was upgrading from Fan on/off version, skipping one fw version...

denton

I have three sats using diseq and have had zero problems with this FW - previous versions really pi**ed me off with the "disappearing channel list" syndrome.

Streaming IP sticks now! May be this guys has started to listen to it's users, may be.

So if any one from opensat is reading, please please remove this annoying limitations on the Network/USB, that would make this box at least usable as a madia player, as it was advertised.
