I have a Panasonic 42"plasma TV. It has a light sensor on the front that dims the screen when the room lights are turned off.
I've just replaced the bulbs (3 of them) with those energy saving ones and discovered the the TV screen was darker, so replaced one of them with a standard bulb and the screen brightened up again.
Are light sensors not activated by the light put out by these sort of bulbs?
Anybody else noticed this?

the energy saving ones are these all cold white, if you have the chance try one that is warm white (color temperature) and see if that would help. No settings to fiddle with, check the manual?

Hi Giga. I didn't know there was different types of these bulbs. I'll look into that and report back.

Yea, I've done that now thanks.
The main reason of my post though was to point out yet another down side to these wonderful new bulbs.
