MVision HD200C Firmware Update and retaining channel database

I have the above STB driving a motorised dish.Each time I update the firmware I have to rescan from 45 degrees east to 45 degrees west.How can I retain my settings each time I update.Surely the firmware update should include these settings

When you update which update mode do you choose.
It should be "S/W Update" Not "S/W + All Data Update"
That's what I do and never had any problems.
