dm 800 & white card

Hi, i am sure this question has been asked many times before but there still seems to be confusion, certainly in my mind.

1. can i safely use the white card directly in my dm 800 ( i have read various threads about the card melting. smargo)????

2. will it work with ccam 2.1.3 or 2.1.4.

3. do i have to enter a box key in the config. file.

is the box key necessary for just the premium channels or all channels including ch5. ch4 etc.

as far as I remember, it's just the premium channels...
