Hi,
Just got a DM500 from a mate it has an `Eagle` image installed on it.
Is there anyway i can find out if this is a clone box???
And how do i flash a new image??
I have a DM800 and putting a new image on it was very simlpe is it the same with the 500S

naclabasically same yes m8 .
to check if its a clone check its mac address in your router it probably is a clone since Dream multimedia do'nt make dm500s no more ,
Mac address of dmbox is best way to be sure ,
nothing much to worry about tho' as most clone dm500s work just fine ,
to flash image you need Rs232 cable and DreamUp tool i would advise Nabilo Darkstar II or PLI image ,
