Ethernet port - transfer files

If i record an HD program, can i copy it as a file to a PC if the AZBOX is on the same network as the PC?

FTP? the onboard ethernet port would be quicker than wireless, assuming the onboard ethernet is 100mb and not 10mb

This works, with FTP and samba, but the network speed is really slow.

thats a shame, i wonder why? surely the network speed involved should be the bottleneck, in my case 100mb router & switch...

for me transfer rate is around 1.5 mb/s using latest firmware

I've seen 2.5-3 mbits/s while transferring a large file with ftp over a wifi connection with my azbox premium (firmware 4348), but during the transfer the box was unusable.

Anywhere from 30-60 minutes (by wireless) - probably quicker using cable.

I only get these speeds in sleep-mode... 0,6 mbits/s if I'm watching channel, even less with OSD (OSD seem to eat alot of resource)...
