My friends good evening, (hoping this is the right Forum)
I am almost benighted on sat issues.
A friend of mine gave me a sat receiver. At the beginning I thought it was something easy to get it to work. I got the old dish with one LNB and installed it. I ask the man in the shop, where I went to buy the cable, how to connect it, I set everything. And I turned the switches on and I got a Big Big Big “No Picture” on my TV. So understood that it wasn’t so simple, and this made me to be hell-bent about it. The receiver is Echostar SR-35. The remote control hasn’t any Knob to select “Menu”. I understood that should be a combination of knobs. I tried them, I saw various symbols on receiver’s screen but I couldn’t understand (Probably the OSD isn’t available). Searching in your forum I understood that you are experts on those issues so I dare to register and ask for your help. Searching in the internet I found that the receiver is 1998 model and there isn’t any manual available.
Hoping that somebody has the knowledge to help me,
I am thanking you in advance
