how do's one find out if hdd is ext 2 or ext 3

A hard drive can be formatted whatever way you like. Ext2 an Ext3 are Linux formats (FAT32 and NTFS are Windows formats - FAT32 is used generically by lots of systems) . The AZbox will format in Ext3 I think when you use the internal utility.

we know how to format hdd but it gives you no options so you dont know wether it is ext2 or ex** we want to know how you find out which it is. any help would be appreciated
