Hi,

Sorry if in wrong section. Does anyone know what is the smallest dish size I can use in Yorkshire to receive 13, 19 and 28e. This will be on a non motorised dish.

Cheers in Advance

60 cm with one LNB, would go with multi feed to bigger solid dish 80-85: good brand: fuba, triax, ... cheap dish are ok if you only use 1 LNB

they claim..ye need to check it out (also got a 4twin option for HD)

TechniSat Multytenne
UK tested 45cm dish with 4 fixed LNBs for ASTRA 1 (19.2°E), HOT BIRD (13°E), ASTRA 3 (23.5°E), ASTRA 2 (28.2°E)

I've got a triax 64cm dish with 4 twin alps LNB on it for 28.2,19.0e,13.0e and 0.8w.
Works very well.

Here is a pic, showing now 19.0e,13.0e,7.0e and 0.8w.

7.0e is a bit weak and only get a few transponders.

A triax 64cm is tiny and wont stand out, and also its within the legal limit to what you are allowed by a long way.

Speaking of small dishes Keano m8, can you still get nilesat on your 2.4 or were the rumours about a change of sat true?

They are not rumours m8, nilesat are having a new sat, I don't know when it goes live. Think its called Nilesat 102.

For me at the mo I can get showsports but to be honest I never watch it, I always watch the footy on my official sly uk card or if its not on I watch C+ Norway.
Best of all I got the dish for showsports and as from next season they have lost it.
Might actually get rid of dish soon.

Triax TD64 and Triax TD Rail and some technomate 0.2db LNB's and a 4 way diseqc switch all from any sat tv shop in the UK will do what you require

yes , or more if you like

a typical setup including pictures can be found in the sticky threads and usually would consist of either

5e , 13e , 19e , 28e

1w , 13e , 19e , 28e

13e , 16e , 19e , 28e

13e , 19e , 28e , 42e

13e , 19e , 23.5e , 28e

wavefrontier , triax , gilbertini and maybe a few others do suitable dishes and lnb racks

I used a 59cm sly zone 2 dish with 4 lnb,s on it , but currently use an 80cm triax with triax 4 lnb rack and 4 way diseqc switch at the rear of the dish

so numerous options exist to do this fairly simple task
