New TM6900

Guys just a quick question that is troubling me...

1) Do you have to by a CAM such as diablo to get encrypted channels,
or can we use software to emulate the encryption technology?

Can any1 point me to a guide/link for new installations.

For: TM6900 HD.

2) Also there is a Diablo wireless system, which updates auto from
the internet without programming? It this tru?

Thats 2 questions, maybe 3.

I'm not an expert but have this setup.

1. The tm6900 hd super seems well supported with regular patches to update the functionality of the box. The emu on the tm6900 does open a fair bit of stuff (including digitv at the moment) but the diablo 2 (and diablo lite)does add more channels.

the guide you want is this for the cam or for actually installing the satellite setup.

2. I don't have a diablo wifi but afaik it doesnt auto update from the internet without the need to program it. i think the wireless functionality just allows cs without cables.

If you want emu (like BIS TV for the moment) and also want cardsharing with--->Diablo WIFI Ver2.3

If you want more emu and don't need cardsharing---> Diablo 2

Technically you can cs without the diablo wifi. the tm6900hd super has an ethernet port on the back and using the 8281 menu you van configure it to cs (although for me it hasnt been a great success so far). I do believe that with ongoing patches this aspect is improving tho I havent tested for a while.

By the way the picture quality of the tm6900 is superb. SD satellite and even terrestrial digital upscaled to a hd tv is brilliant.

sorry for my "off topic" question but my mom has a 6800 super without ethernet port and I was wondering if her receiver could be a client box for homeCS. So would it be possible with Diablo WiFi? Or any other suggestions?

if its got a ci slot i could imagine it would i have a tm6900 super and it works ok with that , you just install the latest underworld file on it which has cccam on it unless someone knows otherwise ?

I am afraid I am the same as Joany, give it up in the end, thanks to Joany for his help much appreciated, but some how can't get connected my TM6900 using bridge to my router....

I´m using a bridge as well and am connecting wirelessly to my router and it works really great! cccam works really perfectly, no issues at all! It must be a matter of configuration I suppose!Don´t give up, post Your setting in a more detailed way...

To be honest I haven't had a great deal of time to work on it. Unlike Gentlemen I did get the stb setup and connected to the server. It was simply that the pic was freezing every 5 seconds maybe for a couple of seconds. It may be that the server I was using was no good. I will definately revisit this and no doubt I will contact you again for some advice.


@ Gentlemen - We didn't finish configuring your setup. Setting up the wireless connection is pretty straight forward really and I'm sure we could crack it if you want another go. You then just need to find a decent server to connect to (which is the bit I haven't had time to do yet).

hi all iv got a 6800 hd was not aware of the possibilities that super gave you before i brought it, if i put a diablo wi fi would thos meen i could download cccam and if so what other channels would i be able to get.thanks for any info much appreciated carmine:confused:

just plug home plugs in to electrical socket anywhere in house (as long as on same loop) no meesing around with bridge hope this helps :)

Guys so really after reading through the posts. the TM6900 is ok without a CAM to view channels with because it emulates it in the software needed to decrypt?

Really interested in Live footy, live cricket and movies.

Is that a correct statement?

At the moment you can get most footy matches in the uk and many foreign ones.

Cricket is a bit of a problem because mostly only the brits watch it so its not on sats other than sly. (and unless you use cs you won't get this)

Movies - at the moment there are a selection of movies on digitv (which the tm decrypts) but not many.

Generally there isn't much going on at the moment. 6 months ago you could have filled your boots with movies.

The main package opened by tm6900 is changing encryption later this year and it is expected that much of it will go. With the d2 cam there is currently a great deal of **** opened and many french channels in viaccess. we hope that there will be some sort of breakthru and other packages will be opened but nobody knoes.

then there is always the cs to experiment with going forward (detailed discussion of this subject is not allowed on this forum (and never ever discuss how to beat the australian man who owns everything above us))

just to add you can always buy a millennium plus card that will give all the french of C+/CSAT more prno sport and movie's
or a G@mm@ for the dutch 19 east /or pink 16 east/or bullsat 39 east
and nova GREEK when is working/not for the moment
plus you get all the channels from the patched TM
CS with the tm you can and if you are lucky and get connected but too much freezing i give up myself

Does anybody have a comprehensive list of what is available with just the software CAM built into the TM6900?

Also if cardsharing is used? I understand that you can get all sly channels.
Can the freezing not be tweeked to work more stable?

Never given it much thought really, but suppose it must> the TM softcam opens Digi,and SCT and others without any cam installed and my Conax Digialb card never needs updating so they must be built in. Someone will correct me if I am wrong I am sure!! Cheers - Brain

Only that which is opened - I tried the 8281 bit and results were not good. I have long had a digialb sub so I suppose that makes me lazy - compared to S** - its quite good and value most of the time!!1w has given tennis, footy, etc very well. BW - Brain
