Do you really need a receiver?
Otherwise you could go for a PCI-e DVB-S/S2 card and a broadcom PCI-e for hardware acceleration of HD, and maybe a Smargo since you have a card. Then put it in a "cheap" PC and run linux MythTV or VDR, and you have the same. Should be about the same amount of money, but with a LOT more work...
I have a fully functional Mythtv FTA box working but I want to have access to tntsat (I have the card and also the crap receiver that comes with it) using my mythtv. Do you have a howto to instal the smargo and read the card? Thanks
