Hi everybody,
I have just received my DM800 clone (DM800 OEM silver bootloader 75 2.01 Sim) and trying to set it up. My setup is 1 twin LNB pointing at 1W and 1 twin pointing at 5E. I have set it up as simple DiseQ A/B. When I try to do a scan the signal is very weak on first LNB and the second LNB it's not able to find any channels. On my DM7020 and DM600 everything works perfect.
I have tried to see if the tuner was loose and also updated all drivers, but nothing has changed.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi mate, thank you for your reply. I have tried with Gemini 4.7+ 4.6 and Nabilo blackhole, but unfortunately it doesn’t help. Signal strength on 1W is about 90% on my DM7020 and 14-40% on my DM800 clone. 5E it’s about 90% on DM7020 and 0% on DM800 clone.
I have tried to change the settings diseq setup to see if that helped. If I click no in “add voltage and 22KHZ” I’m able to find one transponder on 5E but the I lose allot of the channels on 1W.
Does it make seens?

Hi everybody,
I still haven’t been able to solve my problem. I'm not sure if it's bad tuner or a bad user :)
Therefore any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi all,
Still have a problem with the tuner. I have changed my L3 tuner to a rev k. tuner, but this haven't solved the problem.
Will it be solved if I buy a original tuner or are they also sensitive with a disq switch?
Input please :)

Are you seeing the sat with the 800 ?
The 800 is very different to your 7020 and 600
The first thing I would do is change your satellite.xml

Yes i see the sat. I'm able to find all the channels on 1W, but it's not able find any on 5E. I have tried to change the satellite.xml, but that didn't help.
As said earlier and for info: If I click no in “add voltage and 22KHZ” I’m able to find one transponder on 5E but then I loose allot of the channels on 1W.
How does the original DM800 handle disq switch?

go back to dish set up
the setting in uk is very fine
70cm is minimum dish size. for good reception.
takes me 1/2 an hour to get all transponders unless weather is very fine.
once set ,go out in the rain and reset again on any weak signal.
thor 5 ok . but 10-20 is weaker.

Rule out the disecq switch
Connect the dreambox directly to the lnb, how's the signal then
I have a both boxes at the moment and yes the 800 clone has a weaker tuner than the genuine box, not a bad little box but your very limited at trying out new images etc, picture quality seems just as good as the real thing
