Freeze and re-boot

Hi

Have a tomtom one version 3 (i think)

Downloaded latest navicore and maps,working ok but when i try to enter a postcode the unit freezes and re-boots,this happens as soon as i tap the postcode icon-- help???

Have tried deleting and reloading different navicore and maps and updated the postcode file

If i bypass the postcode and use the longway round-town and street etc its fine

Puzzeled

Any help ???
