...just out of interest, does anyone know if the octagon firmware can be used on the ICECRYPT?

Not without changing the bootloader as well and not worth bothering as the Icecrypt firmware is the same or very nearly the same and is normaly released only a few days later. From what I understand it is risky to change the bootloader.
