I am using DCC to install BarryAllen throu Telnet and have the following error please help: It seems triying to download barryallen (5.0.35) and the one I have is barryallen (5.0.34)!?

Have a look at the size of the file, i have had that error when the download file did not cross over to the temp folder correctly.

You also could download it from the plugin menu.

The root still has enough room for this file... Now do not know what to do... If I try downloading it with pluging menu it attemps connecting to server and send an error at the end again "ipkg: invalid magic"

Flush seems to have enough room. I have 1TB Hard drive, a CF 8GIG and a SD 8GIG installed as well.

Strange, have you a swap file setup? if not do that and try again then let us know.

Are you using oozoon lean or full?

Here you go... a more detailed story Oldfart:

I purchased a DM8000 2 weeks ago and out of the box I installed Hard Drive 1TB, CF 8GB and SD 8GB then the software... first Nabilosat DM8000 Pure Flash Multiboot 12NOV2009 tried installing BarryAllen and pluggins and no go...just the same errors as per below then installed Oozoon cvs full but while installing Pluggins same story. Also tried Oozoon cvs lean and same.
Here is what I did for "many pluggins installation" ....not only one and constantly obtained same errors:

1- Tried installing via Blue button (No go)
2- then tried DCC with Telnet "ipkg install /tmp/packagename.ipk"
3- Then used tools ipkg packages on DCC after updating packages list (No go)
4- Checked and confirmed the file size after transferred to /tmp folder

After changing image different times downloading files different times to discard file corruption I runned out of options and started thinking it is a hardware defect...then will have to refund the box! Shall I?

Here is an example of what I am getting I would appreciate your suggestions.

I am a little confused on your post.

Are you saying Barry Allen does not work ?

If you load OoZooN full then you have Barry Allen already installed, from this you just choose USB, CF or HDD

That is correct it does not work and it does not show up in pluggings after Oozoon full installation...Also I cannot install any other pluggin with the reasons explained above

Dunno about BA - installed it ages ago, but don't see the point.
After using it - found I didn't get to grips with any image; my decision was - pick an image and stick with it - get to know how it works.
In the end I chose OoZooN full.
I now have OoZooN lean - with only a few plugins

That is my intention to stick with one image let's say Oozoon but if I cannot install any pluggin ...it is a real problem...What to do?

Ok, flash your box with Dream Elite image and tell me if you see the plugins.

Time to get this sorted once and for all.

Test meoboot, you will need to format the USB but it should let you multiboot.

Hello Sonic, here you have my update:

I manged to use some of the plugins and updated software..
I booted up and Started Blackhole getting following screen:

iNPUT
cRASHLOGSFOUND
SEND THEM TO DREAM MULTIMEDIA?
Yes
No
etc

Then tried to use the Genuine dream box.. BTW I still want to confirm my DM is genuine cause I dont know...so here is what I have when push plugin. ! any ideas to make it work?

I gave up and refunded my DM8000 after not being able to dinstall plugins! Always having same issue... I will get my replacement this week hopefully it is working propely! At leat I tried all you guys told me to do.. Thanks for your input anyways!
