Hi,cannot do a fast scan on 6800hd, when i go to the menu and click on the fast scan option i get a choice of Provider,Satellite,Transponder & Chs Renumber,in the Provider list, there are 3 options, Canal Digital-Tv Viaanderen &Telesat. In the Satellite option its got 19.2e Astra 1 listed but you cannot change to another satellite for some reason, wondering if i need a factory reset or something, any help please:confused:
it is only recently the fast scan for those where changed by the operators. (dual position on 19.2°E and 23.5°E)
Why would you limit your choice only to these providers? If you contact your vendor, he would be able to contact Technomate through his dealer and perhaps has this amended. (if you use this feature you only have a channellist up to the providers own specification)
Most of us Technomate Users adjust or make our own channellist to our requirements?
This can be done with this channel editor (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=110802) <= click here
Before you start changing anything: take note on paper of your local setup and save a backup of the channellist.
if you have other questions regarding channellist let us know!

Thanks Giga, thought the fast scan option was for looking for feeds etc ,think i will give it a miss.
looking for new transponders: use Blind Search. Don't use your normal channel list! Save your current channellist on USB. Make a copy named New Feeds. With channel editor:
remove all channels on channel page
remove all transponders on transponder page
on satellite page remove all satellites that are not in your line sight and satellites you don't want.
upload that list to 6800 HD and use it to blind search!
once you have you blind search channellist
bring it back to the computer, make 2 copies of it, name these Regular TV and Feeds, on
regular TV remove all feed channels and transponders
Feeds remove all TV & Radio channels and transponders
follow the news on several websites for feed transponders. When finding a new feed transponder, upload feed channel list and use pid search to search the new transponder for feed.
When feed hunting use the channellist feeds and use auto navigation to check live feeds.
So in theory you would have 3 channel list:1 to blind search new transponders: New Feeds stays empty and 2 to update from the results of the blind search: Regular TV and Feeds.
maximum satellites to blindsearch in 1 go could be 8, if you take more you could have a memory full problem 10.000 channels and a unknown limited space for transponders.
using separate lists would improve your search results on the feed channellist using Auto Navigation. As you will notice blind search on several sat locations will take a long time.
Enjoy the feed hunting.
