how comes with the white sly card, we don't need to enter the paired serial to unscramble CH4 HD

before with the blue card, you had to enter the serial number of the sly box the card is paired with

but on the new ones this isnt' neccessary - why is this?

sky freesat is not as strict as sky monthly subscribed channels, it is free within sky total package, so this requirement stops maybe when you no longer have a payed subscription?
