Hi mower, first of all, we all respect your hard work and your geniality :)
We understand you don't want to release source code of any of your work but, since dvbapi_module is kinda "small stuff" for you, can u please release it? So someone with knowledge and the time can improve it?
native CCCAM thanks to you and deforme it opens now 80% of the times channels :) before it was like 50%. We want to stop using Multicas (pretty good by now by the way) so we can aim to 100% opening channel.
For that we could really use your help :) i know you probably fix this in one day, but can you release dvbapi_module source code pls?
with all due respect for your lost time and hardwork of course.

If I understand it correctly, this dvb_api module is simply an interface that translate the openxcas calls into dvbapi 3 calls (instructions set),so the emulator can use normal E2 calls in the azbox environment.
I would imagine is nothing hard to do for those that know enigma 2 and openxcas (dvbapi is very well do***ented and openxcas has some dev example code).
I'm not really sure why you want source code you could do yourself with some reading.
And in the case you cannot do it yourself, why asking in the first place?
Believe me,sometimes released code do more damage than good regarding encryption systems.
But,back to the basics,it really is something that can be done without previous code.
I might be wrong and mower could correct me if the module does anything else,I haven't messed with azbox emulation at all.

i know 0(zero) about programming :) dvbapi_module just have to be optimized. i remember the_ripper did a great job in only one afternoon.

I don't get it... If you don't know programming, why do you care about source? I don't think that piece of code is good starting point for learning :)
Anyway if is not started as open source, there is good reason for that. I don't think that he forgot about possibility to make it public. We should be thankful for having it for free. Asking for something like this makes me uncomfortable just by reading it, so I can just imagine how author can feel...

@freshmaker
tried to set it like its 2.0.12 in ccc_version.cfg ?

Multicas works perfect here too guys, now even newcamd+cline works at same time without any problem.
but its better to have native cccam right? :)
btw: why is this a joke of thread? just because i was the one to wrote it?
i just don't get why you guys feel so annoyed with something and come to comment anyway.

Is not a joke,in my view
But the truth lies where the people interested in improving this,MUST be able to start from scratch also, without a need of any source code.
For those that know something, should be relatively easy.
I wonder : how much this interested people know about all this?
THAT !!!! is the real question.

Edit ccc_version.cfg with this :

Now yr multicas is 2.1.2 vers. client , lol .

I think hfmls was trying to do what he can do for a better azbox.
what a joke of a thread!
It's a wrong chip for this box. Even if some job was done (e2) by opensat thats because leaked sigma drivers or some reverse-engineering was done.
Personally I don't believe in such tales. There are a lots of communities over the net that had tried to port their software to sigma and failed because lack of code. For now I can see opensat developing new markets not the box software. But money talks. If you want to sell your box you have to made it with decent fw. The best way for opensat is to choose open-source cause they can just shift the responsibility and gain users respects
just my 2¢

yes, look at oscam (opensource) its evolving to be the best EMU around.
why? everybody can take a bite and help.

"everyone can take a bite" also include the providers, which is the downside of open source.
Mower does a lot of good by not make the sources public, same as all the others (mgcamd, newcs, evocamd, etc, etc)
At least they do not give ammunition to the enemy, that for sure will be fired back at you.

Of course I know it
And if you know it too,you know is also behind every closed source emu there is,simply because the reasons i exposed to you above.
You don;t even wonder there is only ONE open source emulator and maybe hundreds of closed ones?
SC has brought too many problems with providers attack for too long.
Check DVBN and you will read good history.
Open source has as many goods points as it has bads,is not a miracle solution.

It would be good to have the dvbapi_module sources.
Currently it's not possible to record while using cccam, probably (I guess) because a bug in dvbapi_module. If we had the sources we could try to fix it.

I use cccam with latest firmware and multicas v162E on azbox premium with internal hdd. Recording and playback of hd channels is working fine. With new versions of multicas i have problems with watching and recording.

he is talking about native cccam with dvbapi_module from mower.
i already ask mower :) i bet i could improve it a lot, or release the source code.
but we have to respect his choices :)

Yes, cccam+multicas can record, but a hop is lost, and sometimes that's the difference between being able to watch a channel or not.
