There is a change campaign which Octagon offers all 918 owners. It goes only until 31/04/2010 ! So try to inform all 918 owners.

If you send your old 918 back to Octagon and pay additionally 95 € to it, you get a brandnew SF 1008 with fully warranty. If you pay additionally 275 € you geht a SF1018.

I am confused... I keep getting emails for new images being released for the SF1008 and SF1018 receivers every week

Is it the 918 which is not being supported anymore hence the exchange scheme?

The 918HD was the biggest con of the lot
badly supported from Octagon from day 1

Now they want us to exchange our
well earned money for a 1008/1018
which in six months will be also badly
supported...go ahead and waste you
money, me personally would never
buy any Octagon again, but it makes
good door wedge for my bedroom

just convert 918hd to next2000 super hdtv opens canaldigital on 19e with latest key bin file

you need null modem cable from pc connect to 918hd use octagon GISOCT loader you have 2 choices with the gisoct loader use octagon. what you do now is turn off box at the back open up gisoct loader press load and then put the file onto loader next 2000 hdtv 107.0 is the one. now press the down button on the 918hd box keeping it pushed in turn the box on at the back
and then press start on the loader you can now let go of the down button if it dosnt start could be wrong port on pc.

yes and the old remote works fine with next 2000 hdtv.
its if you convert to sab ulimate then you need new remote

Thanks, I'll try to see. Beside new packages is there any new functionalities with the next2000 emu (cccam presently can only be activated on one server on 918HD, is the next2000 run more than one?). Any inprovement in the PVR functions (time shift and so on)

SAB HD ultimate or NEXT YE-2000 HD ??
and link to Next Firmware...if allowed...

i would say for firmware update the sab ultimate win. allso i tryed loading latest next 2000 hdtv firmware 108.0 and the box stuck in run protection so went back to 107.0. and just load latest key bin files.
