Using the icecrypt s4000 with a stab moterised mount where can you see which number each satellite position has been stored on the mount ( this should be a number between 1 and 32, max stored positions possible) , I need to know this as I am using the same moterised mount with a sat tv card on my pc .Thanking you beforehand for any replies.

No you cannot see on the motor mount the satellites as the satellites are stored in the receiver

sorry let me clarify I use to have a odm302ci ( this box was 10 years old ) these satellite stored postion numbers where cleary displayed in the channel list and I could just note them down and use the same stored positions on my PC with My theatre or DVB6 without having to go through the set up process, I have looked at the s4000 menu's but can't find no reference to this al you get is the name of the satellite stored position

Stab motor mount has preset satellite positions stored between no.'s 1 and 32 .The rest are user defined positions and are saved on the mount itself .There is a pdf manual kicking about somewhere on the net with the preset positions but it takes some tracking down :-(

What I was meaning to put was that you assign the satellite numbers in the icecrypt to what is already is stored in the motor ie hotbird -1 ,astra1 -2 etc
