A problem with TM 6900 HD and 8281

Hello @ all,
I installed Magicptch 7.21 and now i wanted to run S&Y.
I tried to press "8281" and the only thing which happens is that
i can see the numbers in the right corner as "program Numbers".
I wanted to see the "secret" menu but there was no.
What should i do?! Did i do anything wrong with the insallation...
or what else?!

Think our comrade Giga may want to reply to that one mate - seems to ME at least that you may be getting a little confused with all this?
For instance I can read my White card straight into my TM6900HD Super slot while using patch 721P, with no need to even THINK about the secret menu 8281!:respect-055:

As you say m8 [ 8281 ] Only lets you into the server List ? Nothing to do with SKY Card :D

AFAIK the 8281 menu is for entering bis keys / ccw for a given channel.

the 8280 menu is for cs. As others said, don't thisnk this has anything to do with sly cards.

Also don't forget that the patches for this stb come in 2 parts now. You deffo need both, though i havent updated for ages so can't just remember how to do it now. It is well do***ented tho. try the stickys.

you made a simple mistake there mate
8281 CS
8280 CCW menu
but in the latest patch's this pin number window came for some reason
as usual you put a pin 0000 then you get the CS menu
but the most common thing is that you can't see what you write for a PW you get ********* if you make a mistake you had it

8281, then put in ur pin no, but as previously stated ,u don not need to go into this menu,.:iagree: sorry rab ,overposted u,.

I got an idea that you got little bit confused
as i mention 8281 then pin number 0000 that will give you a CS menu
as long you got the add on it should work I hope

did you load add on? after 7.21p? As the others confirmed to you: when you enter 8281 (fast) you should see right top corner channel 8281 and Enter PIN if you did not change the pin: 0000. If all is correct you should now see the Server List

I read that there a two parts of an image..
Is that correct .. ? I installed one because there was no second.
If there is a second part for 7.21 would you be please so kind to send a link to it? I tried it with your idea dxman and i thought i was that menu but the was the wrong one , sorry.

So my question is:
Do i need two part to make this image (or the menu) working?

I tried to do it with the upload thing (CS ifo list.txt)
But it is still not working... Maybe there is something wrong with the IP-Adress?!
I'm not sure why the still is "Disconnected"

If you follow the link (8281) on gigas last post then it will tell you how to connect your tm6900 to your network and to the internet(where you can connect to a server)

I tracert both CS servers and both are working well.
I had a dbox2 and on it everything is runnig like it should.
So i changed my Reciver to a Technomate because i wanted to watch HD ...
no i'm a little bit disappointed of all this stuff ... Do anyone know how to solve the problem.

does TM connect or do you still get disconnected? Check your router security log and see if router blocks access to internet?

CAID= Used encoding (CAM) (Seca, Conax, ...)
IDENT= Used to identify the provider
both are set to filter the correct requests for that channel in its coding from the provider to the correct server

Best thing to do is set up yr TM as described in gigas post THEN try to ping it from a pc on the network. Do this before starting to worry about what the 8281 menu does.

Once you can ping your tm come back and we'll go from there.

Start from scratch. put a suitable (one that is in the same range as your router) ip address into the tm. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO DO THIS?
Do you know the ip address of the router?

You then need to ping the STB from a pc on the same network to confirm that there is a physical connection and that the box is on the network.

Please confirm this first THEN start trying to connect to servers.

Can you see the TM from within the router?

Built-in security with firewall, stateful inspection when you log the IP for the TM in your router what do you get?

Clarke Tech Editor Studio version. 3.12 Works Fine under [ Windows 7] When the Error comes up when Installing !! Press [ Ignore ] Works OK;)
