I use a v-box with my 800 HD and my actuator packed up after many years, previously driven by an Echostar and then my 7000s.

Put is a new actuator with a new geometry and got the satellites all sorted very easily.

Used a vbox with my actuator for last 4 years after pace 500 bit the dust,use it in conjunction with Dm800 and a few others,but as standalone using rc to find sat.Never misses a beat and is useful this way to inch the dish on sats such as astra 28.2 and eurobird at 28.5 to maximise signal, Dunc.

Using v-box and Dm800 here too,no probs ,occasionally have to "tweak" the dish,works a treat
