Sky News HD probably will not appear on the Sky EPG until its official launch date, however it is tunable manually and is currently listed as '9020'. The test appeared yesterday, and it is not yet known whether a 'Free to View', 'Basic Subscription', or 'HD Subscription' card is required to view the test.

hi i have scanned and got 9020 - sky news hd and one called 4050??

but no picture - is this correct??

Yes believe that's correct, these appeared when I tuned in the freqency last night. Not sure what the other test '4050' is, and if indeed '9020' is viewable at present.

Just tested on my [Technomate6900 Super + ] Channel [ 9020 ] Is There ? Inserted My Sky HD Card IN THE SLOT ??Not Working !!![ Still Scrammbled ] All other Sky HD Channels are ok , On the TM ;)


Also Tried a Manuall Scan on the Sky HD Box[ Add channels ] But the [Symbol Rate ] Does not go upto [29500] Cannot see a way of putting that into the Box Manually:smash:

My question is, if its not possible to tune in the frequency using a Sky HD Receiver, and when it is tuned using a non Sky Receiver, a sub card will not open the test, how do they know that it is Sky News HD?

Do not think Wee will get Sky News HD For a few Months yet , Reading Else Were They are updating there studios ? They are going to be the First News HD Channel In Europe,So it will Probely be [FTA ] ;)

It has been there on my spiderbox 9000 HD for the past 3 weeks...Brilliant channel.

Confirmed above that it's part of their HD package.

(BTW election coverage was available free on BBCHD.)
