Hi All I Have had my 4000 nearly 2 weeks now and need an idiots guide to get it running with CS and 2,14 I have no problem with dream boxes but can’t get my head around this to get it up and running so anyone with bags of patience can help me sort this out I would be most grateful I have spent hours reading but just hitting my head against a brick wall as its not making sense to me

Hi mate I was the same scratching my head trying to get this box working on a CCcam server. You need to install the latest firmware and a working plugin as below:

Follow the steps to install both.

When you have a cardsharing line like

C: server.no-ip.com 12000 username password

You have to ammend this in the Xcamclient file like so:

cccam2:server.no-ip.com:12000:0/0/0:username:Password

If you want to edit your chanel list you can use software like DREdit which you will be able to find on this site.

It took me hours to get this box working to some normality but thanks to support on this site it's working a treat and getting better. Any more help let us know.

in case the CCcam2 line is confusing you with the smiley face it is just:

username : password with no spaces between. For some reason : and p creates a smiley.

You probably would work this out but at the bottom of the Xcamclient file it will give you an example of the line you can delete or leave this and make sure when you enter your cccam2 line you don't put a # before it or it will not be used.

or use an N line on the 4000 instead of a c line and newcs from the server to the 4000

My problem is iam trying to run the plug in https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=128716

but keeps coming up can't create file

can some one please advise me what iam doing wrong

make sure you have:-

used the correct fixed ip of the box in the ip section

name and password are correct to enter the box ( check with an ftp program you can access the box )

and also check your firewall is allowing access to this plugin program

The kinkdink installer is only to amend the ccam config file.
