new fw blindscan speed improvement??

hi but correct me if im wrong,but i didnt know the speed on blindscan with the premium was a problem i thought the problem was
1 didnt do a proper blindscan just the tp in the databasemand only one sr value
2 problem with diseqc setting false limits especially with the vbox

blindscan speed improvement is intended only in premium plus model

I dont' have the plus but I've read on other forums that some users were reporting satellite scan times of 15 minutes, that is really slow. Hopefully they've made a significant inprovement.

It used to take nearly an hour...so 15 minutes is very fast.

Still takes an hour with latest firmware.

Well, if it takes that long it really isn't a functional blind scan for us guys who are feed hunters, our feeds would be long gone by the time we reach the end of the scan.:rant:
