how do i make a v_keys.db file

Although you are in the Humax section, is vPlug (the s/w that needs a v_keys.db file) on your PC ?

If it is and your PC is running vPlug you can go into the vPlug monitor and then click on the blue disk icon (far right on the top row) This brings up the vPlug Editor window. One option is to select a Softcam.key file and import it (if there are already working keys in vPlug tick the option "Keep all & import only new records).

Of course the simplest way is to find an up-to-date v_keys file on the internet and just put it in the Plugins folder.
