Hi All,

I have just downloaded WE_845_2647 which I hope will be ok for my go700. Have unpacked the rar file and now have 32 files, do I need to group these or just load the lot? 1st try at this so may be a bit of a pain in the coming days!!!!!

Any help and or advice please.

Regards, Jeff

Did you use the link I posted on the forum for the map ?
You should just have 19 files in a folder named "UK_and_RoI_845.2647". When you do add the new map - delete the old map folder first - don't try overwriting existing files.
What version of Navcore are you using ?

Looks like you have not activated the map - see the guide I have posted here -

Hi Russell,

Right, 90% there now. Used your Navcore v8.24 and map 846.2645. Only problem is I am unable to patch the TT home, will try again tomorrow and take a test drive to my nearest cameras. Thank for your help.

Might have to try use 'Operate My Device' in Tomtom Home - it should then download a file to your PC. Then close Tomtom Home - right click on the icon on the task bar (by your clock on bottom right of screen). Now use the activation tool to patch TT Home.

Hi Russell,

Hope you had a good holiday.

Have never used the post code option for route planning before but unit locks up and reboots, it works fine when attached to pc via "operate my go"

I do get this error message every time I connect the unit.

"ERROR: 573/#https://home.tomtom.com/account/setDevice: Error from server: You have an invalid version of the TomTom application installed on your TomTom device. To use HOME you need to install the correct version of the TomTom application.
You have an invalid version of the TomTom application installed on your TomTom device. To use HOME you need to install the correct version of the TomTom application."

Any advice or suggestions please.

Many thanks,
Jeff

To fix the postcode error - use QWERTY keyboard & use small fonts. Not sure about the Home error though.

Hi Russell,

Many thanks, post code problem sorted.

Error on home is not too much of a problem as the message can just be closed.

Thanks again,

Jeff
